On 1 April, Fanni Gaismayer will join ALDE Party as the new Head of the Political Unit, leading membership and policy developments as well as our political research and data analysis.
Born and raised in Vienna, Fanni has been a part of ALDE Party member NEOS in Austria since its inception in 2012, working on the party’s first national election campaign that won the first seats in the Austrian Parliament the following year.
She joins us after an experience as Chief of Staff for the NEOS delegation in the European Parliament, focusing on communications and campaigning.
Fanni has also past experience as an activist, volunteer, elected official and local counselor, board member of JUNOS, parliamentary assistant, Strategic Advisor and event manager.
“I am curious to learn from each other as European friends, connect the dots between us, and ultimately help make the voice of liberal democracy heard louder in 2029. I am eager to support our member parties develop a strong, approachable translation of why people should then vote for liberals,” she said.
Welcome!
