On 27 March, seven Ministers and Secretaries of State from our political family aligned positions on key files ahead of the Environment Council of the European Union (ENVI).
In a discussion chaired by Sigrid Friis MEP (Radikale Venstre, DK), participants discussed how our political family can make a difference in recent and upcoming EU legislative proposals.
In particular, participants examined the environmental focus of the Clean Industrial Deal and the EU’s 2040 agri-food strategy, aiming for a sustainable, competitive sector that ensures farmer incomes, resilience, rural vitality, and harmony with nature.

- Krzysztof Bolesta, Poland’s Secretary of State in Ministry of Climate and Environment
- Uroš Vajgl, Slovenia’s Secretary of State in Ministry of Environment, Climate and Energy
